Hi all,

UPDATE: All new pictures 28 December especially for the wrasse people.

As promised our Indonesian shipment has arrived and we have been flat out making them welcome and happy. Please find below the list and such pics as I have been able to take. Be gentle because it is xmas day and to be frank I would rather have left the camera in the bag today, but ppl wanted to see the fishes....

Redstripe Tilefish - Hoplolatilus marcosi

Grammistes Blenny - Meiacanthus grammistes

Forktail Blenny - Meiacanthus atrodorsalis

Blue Surgeonfish (M) - Paracanthurus hepatus

Two-colored Blenny - Ecsenius bicolor

Lionfish (Black) - Pterois volitans (Black)

Devil Lionfish - Pterois miles

Red Blotchy Hi-Fin Perchlet - Plectrantias inermis

For the nano freak, these are an awesome small fish. You may well agree when I can get a picture where the fish can be seen. I have been calling these Plectrantias enormous because they are tiny

African Clown Wrasse (Juv)(S) - Coris gaimard formosa (S)

Mandarin Fish (XL) - Pterosynchiropus splendidus

We have many of these and they are in excellent condition.

Two-spot Goby - Signigobius biocellatus

Foxface - Lo vulpinus

Temminck's Fairy Wrasse - Cirrhilabus temmincki

These are bad pictures of  awesome fish. We have everything from supermales to submales and females, meaning we could make several interesting harem configurations.

Shortfin Lionfish - Dendrochirus brachypterus

Alligator Pipefish - Syngnathoides biaculeatus

As I was preparing this photo for publication I noticed the eggs on this guy's tummy - we hadn't noticed any while putting them into the tanks.  We will have to check them all out again tomorrow.

In Quarantine : Best fishes from Wonderfish
Posted by Tim on 2008/12/22 12:40:50 (162 reads)

Hi all,

We at Wonderfish would like to offer our best wishes (and fishes) for the Xmas season and all the best for the New Year.

At long last we know when the new shipment from Indonesia is arriving - December 23rd. We do not know exactly what it will contain as we have still not received the invoice, but it is the largest shipment we have ever ordered - we have ordered very interesting stuff and we wait to see what the fill rate will be like. It is a new supplier for us and that always makes for a nervous time.

We will be open throughout the Xmas break except for the 25th and the 29th December - see our calendar here. If you are after some extra presents for your significant folks there are some neat and inexpensive small tank packages available here. Of course, as always you can avail yourselves of our online store 24/7 here.

Merry xmas and a happy new year,
Kate, Tim, Hayden and Ash.

In Store NOW : New shipment soon, but lots of nice things available now
Posted by Kate on 2008/11/28 14:20:00 (173 reads)

Hello All,

We will be getting a fish shipment in before Christmas. We're just deciding where it's going to be coming from.

Our tanks are pretty heavily stocked with a great variety of fish at the moment, and we need to make some space for the new fish, so come take a look. We also still have plenty of nice corals and inverts, and plenty of freshwater fish as well.

We also have heaps of live rock.

Why not come see us this weekend and help us to clear some space for new creatures....

Kate, Tim, Hayden & Ash.
